- All sites linked in this forum must follow normal STG rules (i.e. must not contain obscene, vulgar, indecent or illegal content)
- All sites listed as links must be publicly accessible
- Spamming (i.e. posting) your own website or Board is NOT ALLOWED!! all links to such sites will be immediately removed, and repeat offenders will receive warnings as deemed necessary by staff. (see exceptions below)
- No linking to registration pages or pages that require registration.
- If you discover a website with only a single article that you feel would benefit phpBB3 users. It?s more useful to copy the article and post it with a link back to the original site.
- Posting an article or resource from your own site or board is allowed with a link back to your original post/content/article.
- No linking to highly ?Commercialized? websites or Boards.
- A short description should accompany all links.
- Forums must have a decent amount of content before they will be considered a resource.
- Exceptions to posting a link to your own website or forum
- You must submit your Link (via Private Message) for approval to any staff member within the Starfleet Command staff.
- When a link is submitted, the staff member will post the link in the staff forum, and it will be reviewed before approval.
-- This way, staff will be aware of approved self-promotion sites that are approved. - Approval is NEVER guaranteed. However, following are a list of criteria that the staff uses.
- Site must have a fair amount of content, i.e. no posting to sites with only a few articles, or boards with less than 50-100 useful topics (resources)
- Once (or if) a site is approved by the staff, a staff member will post the link.
- The poster who requested a link to their site may or may not be notified if site is approved or disapproved.
- Allow at minimum 7 days for site approval
